All DHS registered relative and aide providers need to complete a 6 hour training in order to continue to get paid through DHS. This 6 hour class is called “Great Start to Quality Orientation” and will cover CPR/ First Aid and basic health and safety information.  Call 1-800-343-3470 to hear about upcoming classes or visit the Great Start Training Registry (click the "Training" icon below).
 

After completing the Great Start Orientation, Relative and Aide providers will have the opportunity to earn an extra $.25 per hour/per child in reimbursement by completeing an additional 10 hours of approved training per year (Tier 2). Click the logo below to see a complete class list.
