Child Care Resources/Southwest Michigan 4C has a tool for helping parents find and choose quality child care: 

• Child Care Select©  helps parents make informed decisions when selecting quality licensed child care. 

• Child Care Select© provides parents with information about key characteristics of child care centers and child care homes. A number of these characteristics have been nationally identified as indicators of quality.

"We continue to follow our mission of advocating for and increasing the quality of care available for children in the communities in which we provide services," says Ella Fabel-Ryder, Executive Director of Child Care Resources. "Child Care Select© provides parents with symbols that are easy to recognize and understand. Parents will find that it eases their decision making process by indicating what qualities are available in the programs they are reviewing. As always we encourage parents to visit a child care facility before making a final decision."
